Description: Well... the defining image of this Smithfield cocktail joint - as printed on the menus and in various locations around the place - is a heavily lipsticked woman jamming cake into her mouth, while a full-scale orgy takes place behind her... and why not!

Alas it's the former that inspires the bar's main content - that of tarts, cakes, puddings, yummy sweet stuff - with London mixologists tinkering with everything from berries to breakfasts.

'Tart' takes its inspiration from classic desserts: Lemon Meringue Pie is made with Vodka and lemon curd here and topped with a disc of meringue - meanwhile the Tiramisu is bathed in rum, coffee liqueur and mascarpone.

Tart makes a very successful bid for originality by putting pudding in a glass and pornography on the walls - and it's a simply fantastic place to go for a bit of tart...whatever your fancy.
