A Right Royal Guest List
Queen Caroline - refused entry to her own Coronation.
Location: Westminster Abbey, SW1Y
Description: Who'd have thought...a Royal being refused entry to a special occasion - Harry and Wills wouldn't live it down!
That said, Queen Caroline, wife of George IV, was indeed refused entry to Westminster Abbey in 1727 to attend what should have been her own Coronation!
The mortified Queen died of a bowel obstruction three weeks later...so much for the Church being all things good hey!
