Location: Goods Way, Kings Cross
Description: Granary Square is just north of the joint new entrances to King's Cross and St Pancras, just over the canal and in front of University of the Arts London formerly St Martin's.
The square, designed by Townshends Landscape Architects, features a spectacular animated 1,080 choreographed fountains. Eat your heart out Bellagio. Each fountain is individually controlled and lit, which gives rise to splendid fun for kids in the day and fab art shows by night.
