The Marquis of Cornwallis
One of the Kray Twins' local pubs.
Location: 304 Bethnal Green Road Bethnal Green, E2 0AG
Description: This classic East End boozer was known to be frequented by the notorious Kray's father, Charles Kray in the 1940s. They also drank here later and its reputation as a gangsters pub was strong in the Sixties.
Today it's worth visiting for it's real ale and decent grub.
Don't forget to visit the Krays' former terraced house in Vallance Road around the corner.
