The family actually invented the bowler hat in 1850 and have supplied the likes of Oscar Wilde, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Depp and more besides...

James Lock & Co is situated near St. James's Palace, and is within close vicinity of three Underground stations: Green Park, Piccadilly Circus, & Charing.

1» Lock did not exactly invent the Bowler. It was devised and made by the Bowler brothers in 1849, not 1950 (which is quibbling, of course) to fulfill an order from Lock. (Bob Smith)
