The Porterhouse - Covent Garden

Great pub - medal winning ales - lots of bottles in cabinets!
Location: 21-22 Maiden Lane, WC2E 7NA
Description: This is a wonderful pub dedicated to supplying the discerning palate of London with the multifarious delights of Dublins Porterhouse Brewery. These medal winning ales include Oyster Stout, Wrasslers 4X Stout, Plain Porter and for those fluent Irish speakers, An Brainblasta, which translates fairly easily. For those finding their way afresh in The Porterhouse there is a sampler tray of nine beers which should be a sound pointer... Plus, probably the world record for bottled beers on display - awesome!
Central to the bar is a 200 year old original Irish clock rescued from Gortnahoe Town Hall and painstakingly refurbished.
