Bradley's Spanish Bar
Charming, Spanish, friendly, with tasty Spanish beers and vibes.
Location: 42-44 Hanway Street, W1T 1UP
Description: This delightful low-ceilinged hideout off Oxford Street introduces a welcome dose of Latin warmth and colour into the chain-infested hinterland of shopsville.
There are two bars: a tiny bar at ground level, where there is a a vinyl jukebox with a grand selection of tunes from the 50s to the 90s and a (slightly) larger, cavern-like bar downstairs, making this a cool place to quench the thirst.
The bar staff are truly charming. Jose downstairs has been here for 34 years, and is a real favourite. It is a good place to know about because it's fun, reasonably cheap, friendly, and a genuine one-off...it almost feels like it should not be where it is! And the Spanish beers nice too.
