Description: Richard Horatio Edgar Wallace (1Apr187510Feb1932) was a prolific British crime writer, journalist and playwright, who wrote 175 novels, 24 plays, and countless articles in newspapers and journals.
Before moving to Hollywood to write screenplay's for films such as King Kong, he lived here at 6 Tresillian Crescent, Brockley, between 1900 and 1932 while working as a teacher at Brockley County School and author.
