Prime Minister - dismount!

Two odd kerb stones for the prime minister's horse dismount.
Location: The Athenaeum Club, Westminster, SW1Y5ER
Description: Here, outside The Athenaeum Club there are some stone blocks on the pavement placed there in 1830 at the request of the Prime Minister at the time, The Duke of Wellington, to assist in mounting his horse.
The Dublin born Iron Duke, who defeated Napoleon at Waterloo in June 1815, was a regular visitor and member of the club.
We would love to see the current prime minister do this...

1» Awfully nice of him to put this doulbe standard in print. Any one else wondering if perhaps trust in Gillards ability and popularity would be different if the media had afforded her that kind of respect from the beginning? (Chaitanya)
