A Tall Guy in a Brit Comedy
Home to Jeff Goldblum in this classic British comedy
Location: 60 Hawley Road, NW1
Description: Another British Film Comedy location... 'The Tall Guy' was a classic romantic comedy from 1989.
Jeff Goldblum plays Dexter King, a straight man to unpleasant comedian Ron Anderson, who falls in love with Kate, a pretty nurse he meets when he is receiving injections for hay fever.
When Anderson fires him, he acquires the title role in a musical stage version of 'The Elephant Man'. Kate dumps him when she suspects he is having an affair with a fellow cast member, and he must win her back.
And so to this very road...
Jeff cycled down this road - Hawley Road - as the thespian wannabe Dexter King and then stopped at this house - 60 Hawley Road. Another filmatic pad!
