The Park Lane Hilton
One of London's more prestigious hotels.

Description: Built in 1963, the London Hilton on Park Lane is one of the chains many London hotels, overlooking Hyde Park. It's not the most sensitive building, and the Queen did oppose it's construction (and hasn't set foot in it since).
On 24 August 1967, The Beatles met Maharishi Mahesh Yogi here and subsequently went to Uttar Pradesh with him in order to meditate.
On 5 September 1975, the London Hilton was the target of an IRA bomb which killed two people and injured 63 others.
Elvis Costello was arrested here on July 26, 1977 as he performed outside a CBS Records sales conference and was fined 5.
