Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin lived here in the mid 1970's.
Location: 29 Melbury Road, Kensington, London
Description: Jimmy Page of rock gods Led Zeppelin lived in The Tower House here that was built by legendary architect William Burges in 1877. Jimmy Page bought it in April 1974 from its former resident, Irish actor and hellraiser Richard Harris. Harris bought it in 1968 when he discovered that Liberace had tried to buy it but failed to place a deposit.
Filmmaker Kenneth Anger lived in Page's basement at the Tower House while he was editing the film Lucifer Rising & countless Zep songs have been composed in the music room.
