Description: Okay, pubs are great - they exude a certain atmosphere and feeling that not only makes you feel great and want to stay, but also makes you proud to live on this great island.

And so to this pub on Lower Marsh, very close to the up-and-coming 'Cut' area - with friendly staff, good food at reasonable prices and wonderfully comfy sofas upstairs where there is a large screen TV, and shelves of books...and of course...there's a bar downstairs selling ale.

It also goes by the name of the 'Camel & Artichoke' - and any pub with 'artichoke' in it's name is a must visit - outstanding!
