Location: Nr Brixton Academy
Description: This mural was created by Stephen Pusey between 1981 and 1982,and can be found on the back of the Brixton Academy building.
'Brixton Academy Mural' - shows a group of young people hanging out and having fun portraying the natural racial harmony found between the children in the local schools.
It was the last mural the artist completed before moving out to America and extablishing himself as an abstract artist.
Cheerful and colourful, it still adds a bit of cheer as you enter Brixton.
