Description: Famous customers: Samuel Johnson; famous 18th century writer, he wrote essays, reviews, sermons, biographies, poetry, an edition of Shakespeare's plays and the Dictionary of the English Language.Charles Lamb; a famous writer who at 20 years of age suffered a period of insanity. In 1796 Lamb contributed four sonnets to Coleridge's Poems on Various Subjects (1796). This was followed by Blank Verse (1798) and Pride's Cure (1802).
