A Fish Called Wanda
John Cleese's pants scene from A Fish Called Wanda.
Location: New Concordia Wharf, Bermondsey Wall West, Bermo
Description: Do you remember the hilarious scene in 1988 comedy classic 'A Fish Called Wanda' where John Cleese is caught with his pants down while wooing Jamie Lee Curtis? That was shot here at the stunningly iconic New Concordia Wharf.
This handsome former flour mill was refurbished in the summer of 1981 and was the first conversion in Shad Thames.
Inside there are 67 large loft apartments with stunning west-facing views of St. Saviours Dock and Tower Bridge.
They retain many original features like sand-blasted brick walls to chunky Oak floors, plus there's a private underground car park, a concierge and some boat moorings thrown-in for good measure.
There are some notable residents too like TV presenter and comedian Clive James.
