Treadwell's bookshop is undoubtedly the most magical bookshop in London. It specialises in History, Mythology, Neopaganism, Wicca literature, Anthropology, Comparative Religions and much much more. In addition to its rare collection of written texts, herbs and incenses, Treadwell's also runs a successful series of events where clusters of academics, poets, artists and practitioners gather together to discuss philosophical matters until the early hours of the morning.
When stepping inside this enchanted space, Christina, owner and initiator of Treadwell's, will welcome you with a warm smile and a cup of tea which you'll be able to sip while sitting back on a comfy sofa reading about new and exciting worlds from the forgotten beauties of Empires long gone, the initiatory mysteries of greek and roman mythology, to the modern secrets of the God and Goddess.
Treadwell's is also offering its downstairs conference room for rent. Aside from regular Treadwells lectures, we have also hosted several other events and workshopsincluding meetings, focus groups, alternative healing sessions, Yoga and Reiki courses, castings and rehearsals.
