Description: Theatrical fashion designer and The King of Sequins, Lincoln Rahamut (1946-2020), lived and worked from here.

Lincoln was the legendary founder and former artistic director of Masquerade 2000. He was one of the greatest carnival designers in the UK winning award after award for carnivals across the country and in particular Notting Hill Carnival and Trinidad Carnival.

Hailing from Trinidad, and after living in Walthamstow for 50+ years Waltham Forest Heritage put up a blue plaque here for him in early 2022.
