Location: The Mall
Description: If you go down the mall on the left side going away from Buckingham Palace you will come to the statue of the Queen Mother with King George VI statue behind her.
About 30 metres behind him is Carlton Gardens.
At number 4 there are 2 plaques.One is blue and states that General de Gaulle started the French fighting force from this address.
The other is written in French and is telling all French people never to give in as we will all be victorious.
Opposite the house is a statue of General de Gaulle himself
