The Bow Bells

The Bow Bells

Phantom flusher and apparition in the ladies toilets was here.

Location: Bow Road, London, E3 3AA

Description: It was here that the Phantom Flusher was reported in 1974. Women using the pub's toilets were startled by sudden inexplicable flushing and by a strange mist rising from the floor. They held a seance to solve the mystery, but this merely caused the cubicle door to swing open violently and smash some frosted glass.
