Description: It was here that the Phantom Flusher was reported in 1974. Women using the pub's toilets were startled by sudden inexplicable flushing and by a strange mist rising from the floor. They held a seance to solve the mystery, but this merely caused the cubicle door to swing open violently and smash some frosted glass.

1» I live just down the road from the Bow Bells pub and have been in there a few times. Although im aware that its a very old building i have never seen or felt anything. Maybe next time ill try out the ladies toilets! (David Williams)
