Bingo and Rock Music

Bingo and Rock Music

Hendrix, The Stone and The Police have all played here

Location: 50 Mitcham Road, Tooting, SW17 9NA

Description: Gala Bingo Tooting...

Can be found in a grand art deco building which used to be a cinema, and, as is the way with such places, now a bingo hall. However, it's Grade I listed, and was once called 'Tooting Granada'

But in a previous life before Bingo took a hold and rocked the residents of Tooting - it was indeed a music venue.

And how do we know - well it happened - Jimi Hendrix, The Police, The Rolling Stones and Jerry Lee Lewis have all performed at Tooting Granada, (now Gala Bingo).
