Description: This delightful Walworth Church of England church was where comedian Charlie Chaplins parents were married, and where his half-brother was baptised.
It was built in 1859/60 and designed by Henry Jarvis. It is currently a Grade II listed building.
The church consists of a nave, north and south aisles, chancel, Lady Chapel, choir vestry and vestry, a tower located at the west end of the south aisle and a north porch.
The external walls are of random flint and stone with lime stone dressings, the roofs are covered with slates.
