Description: This newly opened new mini-Dorchester hotel was designed by French hotel architect Thierry W. Despont. It's a modern art deco classic.

It's more famous for what was here before though - Hugh Hefner opened his first European Playboy Club (the casino opened right in 1981) right here. In it's heydey in the 1980's it saw Michael Caine, Joan Collins, Jack Nicholson, George Best and Muhammed Ali cross it's threshold. At the time the casino was reputedly the most profitable casino in the world.
