The Dukes Head

The Dukes Head

Built for the Thames and its events, such as the Boat Race

Location: 8 Lower Richmond Road, SW15 1JN

Description: Built simply because the Thames and its associated events - the Thames Regatta and the Boat Race - were hosted very close by. This pub wasn't a community drinking hole but entirely a venue for those visiting Putney.
