Miller's Residence

Eccentric little celebrity hotel full of bygone world character.
Location: 111a Westbourne Grove, Notting Hill, London, W2 4UW
Description: This bizarre boutique hotel is a small luxury 18th century style hotel in Notting Hill. It is the essence of a welcoming private residence, offering individual rooms or exclusive Salon Rooms set in an atmosphere of a bygone era. Antique furnishings and exquisite decoration make each Room or Salon Room a romantic home from home.
It is simply full of antiques. In fact, it is way beyond full of antiques. You get the impression that, without the paintings, mirrors, china, silverware, books and bric-a-brac clinging to every surface, both vertical and horizontal, the 18th-century townhouse might fall down.
Drinks are on the house to residents, which may explain why Miller's is a favorite of the film and music crowd - hippie singer Marianne Faithfull stays here and Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale had his stag party here.
Individually and antique-packed bedrooms (one even boasts a genuine Chippendale four-poster) are named after the romantic poets. Each has a verse stencilled on the back of the door – be it Keats (probably the most lavish), Coleridge (our second favourite), Wordsworth or Byron.
A very romantic and bohemian place to stay!
