Handbag Gang Strike Again
Moped Mod target another exclusive fashion store in New Bond St
Location: New Bond Street, W1S 1EW
Description: In the latest criminal tale of mad blokes riding rough-shot around London on scooters targeting designer fashion outlets continues unabated.
The Anya Hindmarch shop on New Bond Street appears to have been the latest target (19 March 2008) after two men smashed through the designers front window and grabbed handbags worth 30,000 pounds...at around 10.30pm...
With this the fourth raid in almost as many days, all that appears to have been left in evidence at this unfortunate outlet was a sledgehammer...slightly scarred!
Mopeds appear to be the transport of choice for these raiders and with expensive tastes in ladies garments, London's fashion kingdom looks set for more of the same from the 'moped mob'.
