Olympics 2012: BMX Circuit
The brand new BMX track for the London Olympics.
Description: The 2012 London Olympics Velopark will feature next to the Velodrome, a state of the art BMX (Bicycle Moto Cross) Circuit with 6,000 temporary seats.
BMX races are held on short outdoor tracks that include jumps, bumps and tight banked corners. Eight riders compete in each heat, with the top four qualifying for the next round. Races take about 40 seconds.
